Who we are

Marie Fallon
Board Member and Chair of Audit and Risk Committee
Marie has recently retired from her role as Director of Regulated Industry with the Environment Agency in England. Before that she was the Agency’s Area Director for the North East. She has held a number of positions in different local authorities in England with responsibilities including flood management, waste, recycling and regeneration. She is currently a board member of Northumberland National Park Authority.
Marie has a degree and postgraduate diploma in Town Planning Studies from the University of Central England, as well as a Diploma in Conservation and Ecology from the University of London.
Marie has wide-ranging environmental regulatory experience including working with stakeholders to test the effectiveness of policy and regulation in delivering good environmental outcomes – particularly in the regulation of Industrial activities.
